Last date for receipt of appln. is 12.02.2021. (3) Short Term Course on Strategic Planning for Quality Development is scheduled to conduct from 09.02.2021 to 15.02.2021. Last date for receipt of appln. is 29.01.2021. (4) Interaction Programme for Ph.D Research Scholers / Post Doctoral Fellows is scheduled to conduct from 23.02.2021 to 15.03.2021. Last date for receipt of appln. is 12.02.2021. (5) No Programmes will be conducted without minimum number of participants (20 nos.) under any circumstances. (6) Demand Draft (Registration Fee - non-refundable) of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of the Director, UGC-HRDC, University of Calicut, payable at SBI, Calicut University. (7) Ph.D./M.Phil holders, whose promotion is overdue for want of mandatory courses are directed to submit a special request recommended by the principal/Registrar to the Director by post for getting priority. (8) Printout of the application (Hard copy) is not required to submit at HRDC office.

Interaction Programme


Students at Ph.D./post-doctoral levels from the Centre of Advanced Studies/Department of Special Assistance (CAS/DSA) may take part in the special interaction programmes to be organized by the HRDCs under the RCs scheme. The interaction programmes should be in the form of workshops/seminars only. The duration of this programme should be about three to four weeks.

The main focus of this programme will be interaction between Ph.D./postdoctoral scholars and teachers. The number of participants for this programme shall be 20-40. This interaction programme may be held once a year. The funding pattern for such programmes will be similar to that for the RCs and the expenditure so incurred may be claimed separately. The student participants shall be treated at par with the participants in Refresher Courses in respect of payment of TA/DA. However, hospitality like stay boarding be extended and no reimbursement should be made to the student participants.
