(1) The list of alloted couses / programmes for the year 2020-21 is available in the link 'Schedule 2020-21'. (2) Date wise programme schedue will be published soon on getting specific remarks from UGC. (3) The online portal will be activated thereafter. (4) The postponed Refresher Course in Arabic Language & Literature is decided to conduct from 09.09.2020 to 22.09.2020. (5) Refresher Course in Environmental Studies / Climate change is intend to resume from 15.09.2020. (6) No Programmes will be conducted without minimum number of participants (20 nos.) under any circumstances. (7) Demand Draft (Registration Fee - non-refundable) of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of the Director, UGC-HRDC, University of Calicut, payable at SBI, Calicut University. (8) Ph.D./M.Phil holders, whose promotion is overdue for want of mandatory courses are directed to submit a special request recommended by the principal/Registrar to the Director by post for getting priority. (9) Printout of the application (Hard copy) is not required to submit at HRDC office.

Best Practices

 

 

i)  MOODLE: is used to share the soft copies of the study materials to the participants and to make interaction between the faculty and the participants. The participants can store their soft contents also. Blog and chat options are also available.

ii)  SOFTWARE: The centre uses only free software such as Ubuntu, R, MOODLE etc.

iii)     Wi-Fi: The HRDC providing free Wi-Fi facility to the participants for preparing their projects, presentation papers etc. in connection with the programme.

iv) Swachh Bharat: 'Swachh Bharat' programme has been implemented in the HRDC and the same being organized as part of each programme conducted by the HRDC.

v)  EMMRC: The HRDC actively collaborating with EMMRC in the content creation and e-content development for audio visual programmes conducted by the HRDC.

vi)  Smart Classroom: In view of the endless possibilities or advantages of Smart classroom the HRDC upgraded its two classrooms as smart classrooms since 2013 so as to foster opportunities for teaching and learning by integrating learning technology.
